However, to do a better job of attracting the "right" talent and retaining them over time, leaders must understand what employees in different countries are looking for in the employment relationship, ensuring a good match between what is valued and what is offered. Finally, whether your global leaders are working outside of their countries of origin (expatriates) or not, there are certain traits and skills that contribute to success in global environment and we will discuss some of those key characteristics.

Utilizing data from Valtera's recent global study of employee opinions, Dr. Lundby will examine how these opinions and drivers vary across multiple countries. With the same set of global data, he will also examine similarities and differences across countries in what employees look for in their employment relationship (i.e. what they value) and will close with a discussion of these global differences and their implications for leaders who work with global teams.
